Lehi's development code has rules for grading. If your plan changes the ground level or calls for digging, ask the city which rules apply. A flat-looking yard does not tell you what is under the surface. If soil is a concern, ask what site or soil review is needed rather than guessing.

Lehi also has mapped floodplains. City rules call for a floodplain development permit for development in those areas. Check the actual property map with the city. This is a lot-specific check, not a claim that every Lehi yard is in a floodplain.
